History.
In 1999,
the band decided to stop touring alongside the various International
artists with whom they had been working, and instead, base themselves
at home in Cork with the express purpose of playing Ireland, with an
occasional U.K. tour only. Having received quite a lot of enquiries
for a good quality function band, H.O.P. Music took over managing the
band and extra musicians were handpicked to complete the line-up, as
a result Johnny C. And The SOUTHERN PLAYBOYS were formed. |
